"Our guides and camp aide were very nice persons, always interested and interesting, many stories to tell, strong knowledge of the wild animals. Sunway Safaris did a wonderful job, highly professional, well organized. Everything went fine, well beyond our expectations. It is difficult to say what we enjoyed most... so many things... I must say that the first sight of a lion, the hunting of zebras & impalas by wild dogs, and lions roaring close to the camp while we were in the tent (or around the fire...) were among the highlights."
Why We Love It
It is a mobile safari but with more creature comforts as you stay in permanent lodges and guesthouses throughout. The overland journey from Chobe through to Khwai gives you an insight into the changing landscapes and a true sense of adventure as well as consistent guiding and travel companions throughout. This accommodated group safari is one of the best value options to explore Botswana's highlights.

"Our Bush Ways’s guide shared his in-depth knowledge of the African bush with us. Travelling with likeminded people was a great experience. We were impressed by the level of accommodation, the lodges were above our expectations."

This is a step above your average camping safari with spacious tents, en-suite bush bathrooms and stretcher beds. It won’t break the bank. Can I just say how much I enjoyed the mobile safari and what a good job the Bush Ways’ boys did for us? It was so different to sleep in the tent with the animals close-by and to hear all the grunts, roars, snuffles, croaks and cheeps that you don’t hear staying in lodges - and to rise in the morning to find animal tracks all around the campsites.
